While many people may be familiar with Paul Hogan’s Crocodile Dundee character, they may not realize that he starred in many Subaru advertisements from 1995 to 2000. He was featured in a series of commercials for the Outback brand, which was new at the time.

Although Fuji Heavy Industries, Subaru’s parent company, is now an automobile conglomerate, they originally started out in a different market. In fact, in 1915, Fuji Heavy Industries was The Aircraft Research Laboratory.
